Project Management without a Software is Harder

Project Management without a Software is Harder

Can you imagine a world without technology? And or maybe perhaps if there are no changes in this world? Some might still be stuck creating fire using stones. And what’s scariest is actually doing
project management without any software; it will surely be longer and harder since everything would be manual like:

·       Assigning tasks and deadlines. The project manager would be talking to each individual and or staff members about what they need to do.
·   Document sharing means a staff member has to make copies of any instruction or information then passing it on to each individual or staff members.

·         Planning. This task would become more tedious since a project manager would have to gather every one involved in the project. And once in a meeting, there is a tendency for chaos since ideas can emit from each individual without omission.
·    Organization of team members and or data. This could add stress to a project manager which might create fusion between team members.
·         Time tracking. This would rely on the honesty of each member and or the dependability of a time tracker device.
·       Determining productivity and progress. This simply means that a project manager needs to be at least at two places at the same time or even more. The project manager would have to determine which individual is efficient basing on quality and or quantity of output depending on the project.

This would simply be a hassle and would be very tedious. And of course human error is inevitable. Details might get overlooked and a team member or a staff might get left out.

And the most disheartening in doing a project management without a software is keeping timelines and or meeting deadlines. Whatever the choice, just make sure to play with your strengths and identify weakness since it is best to know what is needed beforehand.
